Step 1: Web Site Analysis
Step 2: Web Page Optimization
Step 3: Search Engine Submission
Step 4: Web Site Traffic Reporting

Metamend’s SEO Service will optimize the web pages you have selected from within your web site. The major steps in this process involve:

1. Analysis of the Existing Pages

The SEO service looks at the web pages that have been targeted for optimization within a web site from the perspective of “are there any barriers to prevent this web site from being properly indexed?” These barriers vary and may include the format of your web pages (Flash, Dynamic, Framed Content, etc…), incorrect HTML coding, and server configuration errors. The SEO service ensures that there is sufficient relevant textual content (the food that search engines require) to facilitate proper indexing. If the web site is not in a search engine friendly format, the service will correct any coding errors that do not functionally affect the performance of the web site.

2. Creation of New Meta Tags

Once the code of the targeted web page is corrected, and the content tuned, the SEO service will prepare a database of relevant terms based on actual search engine traffic, and create a custom set of the most relevant metatags for that page. These are designed to aid the search engines in identifying the key content within your web pages, and will also help ensure that the web page is found under relevant searches.

3. Final Optimization

The SEO service finalizes everything by inserting the newly created custom tags into the web pages targeted for optimization. Each web page targeted within a web site will have its own custom content and tags. If the web site targeted for optimizing is dynamic, such as a CGI or ASP script, a static page is automatically created, and added back to the main web directory for the site. This page will look and “feel” the same to anyone looking at the web site over the Internet, however it will be created and structured in a language that is preferred by the search engines. This page is what we refer to as an “anchor page” as it’s something the search engines can hook onto, and use effectively.
