How does the Keyword Density Analyzer work?

Once entering a URL into the field for analysis, the Keyword Density Analyzer will return a density cloud (literally, try it!) of that pages most prominant content. The result is an SEO Tool of priceless value.

The density part of the tool is pretty standard. The larger the font, the higher the density of that particular keyword.

What sets our tool above the rest is our intuitive and user-friendly Keyword Prominence information. By scrolling your mouse over a word (hover), you can see its exact density rating as well as its location within the content and source code. It’s this location (prominance/placement) which will ready your page content for successful Search Engine Optimization. Ensure that your target keyword are located in several of these ‘Key Search Engine Markers’ (Page Title, Meta Description, H Tag, Bold, etc…)

The ‘switches’ at the bottom of the cloud are as follows:

Highlight Densities (Active by Default) When this button is active, all keyword densities within 2 and 7 percent of the total readable text are highlighted in GREEN. All Keywords with densities found above 7 percent are highlighted in RED. If youre in the red zone, you need to take steps to reduce the overall number of repeats, or supplement the page with more content in order to increase the number of unique words. In general, its good to have densities between 2-5 percent.

Highlight Prominence – The legend for the prominance abbreviations (T, D, K, etc…) located along the bottom of the Keyword Cloud. The prominance highliting is triggered if your keywords are found in 3 or more Search Engine Markers.

Keyword density, and most importantly, prominence are very important factors that affect your search engine ranking!
